Two weeks ago the SNEAKERNESS, convention for sneakerculture, took place in Cologne and was quite a success as about 1500 guests at the 1.200m² Eventloft of the EXPO XXI traded and danced their shoes off…and now, just 6 weeks to go, next SNEAKERNESS will be ready to open it’s gates in Zurich. The location is an old massive and impressive rail station and logically the ROOS will be part of it again! Date is June 5th, so get your flight- our train- or whatever-tickets and see you there!

Yep. We’re done. SNEAKERNESS is through and you get the Review. To be honest, it was a blast again! THX to all the boys and girls who made this thing possible! We had a very special Booth featuring live-lacing by Lune. Philipp Keil, our Inhouse Designer did a great job by Graffiti-painting the customers shoes and we had a KangaROOS Game exhibition, also focusing on Graffiti-beautified Sneakers, produced in the already mentioned sneak-bombing-Battle. A hero of ancient times he was, to be compared with strong styles like the Combat or Slam Dunk, the Blaze will be reanimated soon and become a part of the steady growing ROOS Red&Black family. Conditioned by the fact that the Blaze used to be a quite rare Sneaker, it’s definite to say that he will join’ our Black Line.

In April 10th the river rhine-metropole Cologne will be hosting the number one SNEAKERS event in Europe called SNEAKERNESS. It took place in several cities in our southern neighbor-countries Swiss and Austria before and was a tremendous success! The ROOS will be gold partner of the event. The Skateboarding and Streetwear Tradeshow was a nice option for the Shoes with Pockets to show the new oldschool Heritages to the people.
